What type of film (Hi8, Digital8, Video8) can be played on the same camcorder? - digital8

I used to have some old cameras from Sony, and now I have a collection of videos, 8, Hi8 and Digital 8 are. I want to buy an old video camera, and said there was no "do not play in a position to play 2 types of videos, but I'm not sure. Hi8 Camcorder Hi8 and video both 8 or Digital 8, that also play Hi8?
